The Villa is near Mojacar Old Town, a hilltop town which dates back to at least as far as the Moors. It is a traditional Spanish town with white buildings and winding streets.

The villa is also near Mojacar Playa which is spread out along 7km of a broad sandy beach; with an additional 9km of undeveloped coastline.

Nearby is the fishing town of Garruccha which has a large marina, and the market town of Vera.
